Student Club refers to the pure Korean word for a group which means a group of people sharing the same purposes and ideals. The reason why universities are called a semi-society is because it is not limited to simple technical education or academic research, but it also creates its own proper and sound culture through group activities with a sense of purpose. Student clubs are not passive subjects of culture, but are active subject s that have the role of comprehensively improving the democratic citizenship qualities of the participating students.
50 clubs have been registered at Hallym University as of September 2024 including various activities with characteristics of each field including liberal arts, culture, religion, academics, service, sports, entrepreneurship, etc.
