The Institute of System Biomedical Science performs basic multidisciplinary research based on experimental animal disease models for prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of various diseases focusing on central nervous system disorders. The institute aims to create competitive research results and train specialized talents through these results.

The Center For Global Frontier Research is obtaining global research competitiveness by performing international collaborative research and supporting systematic research exchanges with strengths in medical·bio·AI fields. The center aims to build a system for constant academic exchange and international-level cooperation with glocal universities, establish a university-university hospital-local community system, and establish a multidisciplinary convergence research support system to implement convergence cluster focused research support governance.
