Knowledge Integration and Strategic Global Partnership
The College of Global Integrated Studies consists of the School of Global Studies and the Department of Forensic Information Science and Technology. The School of Global Studies provides overseas marketing, economics and management courses through the Global Business major to train international trade professionals with international sense. Major lectures are provided in English including foreign language education such as second foreign languages, in which study abroad programs (SAP) are operated through exchanges with prominent overseas universities.
There are many students who have studied abroad through the Special Talent Admission in Foreign Languages (new admission) or desire to advance overseas in the future are enrolled, and exchange students from the US, UK, Germany, Netherlands, and other countries are also studying at the School of Global Studies.
Meanwhile, the College of Global Integrated Studies, which established the major in Legal Informatics & Forensic Science Information Forensic Science in 2015 to train digital forensics experts training course, has established the Department of Forensic Information Science and Technology according to the increasing demand for police scientific investigation fields including criminal psychology, CSI, and digital forensics. The Department of Forensic Information Science and Technology provides the curriculum required for advanced scientific investigation including cutting-edge AI application technology, information security, and security policies in addition to police and investigation related courses provided by the faculty to train convergence talents with technical skills to advance as IT related or cyber investigation police, and also private fields including corporate auditing, digital platform companies, information security, and personal information protection.
In addition, the College of Global Integrated Studies provides a double major in Climate Change Convergence to train professional personnel to lead the future climate change industry and research. Korean Studies and Culture Industry Management majors are provided for international students studying in Korea, promote Korea throughout the world while also helping Korean students become international. The College of Global Integrated Studies will endlessly strive to provide many opportunities to students through organic cooperation with the school members and realizing the vision of knowledge convergence and enhancement of global partnership.
